  • I’m located in Northern California, Burlingame to be exact. I offer sessions virtually for optimal availability and accessibility as well as talk/walk therapy in Burlingame and some home visits as needed. Because of my license, I can only offer therapy for clients located California. However, coaching clients can be located anywhere with an internet connection!

  • Online therapy is very similar to in-person therapy — just from the comfort of your own space. We meet via secure, HIPAA-compliant video, and all you need is a private location and a reliable internet connection.

Many clients actually prefer it. There’s no commute, no sitting in a waiting room, and it’s easier to fit into a busy workday or family schedule. Whether you're logging in from your home office, your car between meetings, or a quiet room after bedtime, the work is just as meaningful and effective.

  • I don’t maintain a traditional office space. I intentionally offer sessions virtually to provide flexibility, accessibility, and ease for busy professionals and parents.

That said, I do offer walk-and-talk sessions in Burlingame and occasional home visits when clinically appropriate. Many clients find that meeting virtually actually increases consistency and removes one more logistical barrier from their already full lives.

  • First sessions can feel a little awkward, a bit like a first date. That’s completely normal. You’re sharing parts of your life with someone new. I’ll help guide the conversation so you don’t have to worry about saying the “right” thing.

We’ll start by talking about what’s bringing you in and what feels most pressing right now. I’ll ask what you hope might look different if therapy or coaching is successful, whether that’s in your relationships, your work, or how you feel day to day.

Along the way, I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your history, patterns, strengths, and the context of your life. My goal isn’t to interrogate you. It’s to start building a clear, shared understanding of where you are and where you want to go.

  • he honest answer is that it depends.

Some clients come in with a specific goal or transition they want support navigating. Others discover that what brought them here is connected to deeper patterns they want to understand and shift. We’ll regularly check in on what we’re working toward so our work feels intentional, not open-ended.

The goal is not to be in therapy or coaching forever. My role is to help you build insight, tools, and confidence so you can move forward with more clarity and steadiness in your life and relationships. Over time, many clients feel equipped to navigate challenges on their own. Others choose to continue with periodic check-ins even after their original goals are met. Think of it as maintenance or continued growth rather than crisis support.

In terms of frequency, there’s no minimum requirement. To build momentum and a strong foundation, I typically recommend starting at least every other week. Meeting less frequently in the beginning can sometimes feel like we’re just catching up each time. Depending on your situation, some clients prefer weekly sessions for more focused support, especially during high-stress seasons.

We’ll decide together what cadence makes the most sense for you.

  • Individual therapy sessions start at $180.
Couples therapy sessions start at $220.

Coaching packages vary depending on structure, frequency, and level of support needed.

I also offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots through Open Path Psychotherapy Collective for those who qualify.

If you’re unsure what makes the most sense for you, we can talk through options during a consultation.

  • I am an out-of-network provider and accept private payment only.

If you have out-of-network benefits, I’m happy to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Many clients are able to receive partial reimbursement this way.

You may also use HSA or FSA funds for therapy sessions.

If you’re unsure what your benefits include, I recommend calling your insurance provider and asking about out-of-network mental health coverage. I’m also happy to answer questions to help you understand your options.
